Application to the Medical Treatment Risk Fund
The aim of the Medical Treatment Risk Fund is to enable patients to defend their rights and obtain redress through an out-of-court procedure that is significantly more accessible and faster. And for medical practitioners, to protect the risk of their professional practice and its possible consequences.
Attention!
As of 1 January 2019, the Health Inspectorate will examine claims and take decisions on reimbursement from the Medical Treatment Risk Fund. The National Health Service will continue to pay the indemnity to the applicant's bank account in accordance with the decision of the Health Inspectorate.
Therefore, people should apply to the Health Inspectorate for reimbursement from the Medical Treatment Risk Fund.
