If a person needs emergency medical help but doesn’t want to call the ambulance team and instead wants to go to a hospital reception on your own or with the help of a friend or a relative, information about the services available there is essential.

To be able to provide certain types of care, a healthcare facility must have the appropriate specialists on duty and the necessary equipment available. For example, there are hospital admission wards where you can go if you suspect a broken bone, and others where you can go if you have burns or cuts.

The tables below summarize information on hospital admission wards providing state-funded healthcare services, as well as information on their care profiles. It is advisable to contact the reception before you go to the hospital to clarify your options.

Please note that hospital reception wards do not provide state-funded medical care for non-emergencies that require an elective service!
