In the Republic of Latvia, the digital COVID certificate website www.covid19sertifikats.lv started operating on June 1, 2021. It provides individuals with access to their digital certificates, as well as the opportunity to verify or check the QR codes of the presented digital COVID-19 certificates. Also, as of June 15, 2021, a specially developed mobile application for scanning "COVID-19 Verify" certificates is available, which is more convenient to use in smart devices.

We kindly ask you to download and save the created certificate on your smart device or print it out! When presenting the certificate, you must also present your passport or identity card. 

Vaccination certificate will be considered valid for use in the territory of the Republic of Latvia only if at least 15 days have passed since the receipt of the first dose of Janssen vaccine or the second dose of Comirnaty (Pfizer), Spikevax (Moderna) or Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) vaccine.

For entry into the Republic of Latvia vaccination certificate will be valid only if one dose of Janssen vaccine or two doses of Comirnaty (Pfizer), Spikevax (Moderna), Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) vaccine have been received and at least 15 days have passed since the last dose of the vaccine. 

Individuals who have recovered from Covid-19 can only receive a vaccination certificate if they have initially recovered from Covid-19 (must be confirmed by a laboratory-positive PCR test in Latvia) and subsequently received one of two doses of Comirnaty (Pfizer-BioNTech), Spikevax (Moderna), Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) or one dose of Janssen vaccine and 14 days have passed since the vaccination, excluding the day of vaccination.

Certificate of recovery will be issued and will be valid if at least 11 days have been passed since a positive test result (Koronovīrusa 2019-nCov RNS) (certificate validity period - 180 days).
